General Enquiries

We encourage you to leave your furry friends at home, as Winter Wonderland can get very busy and isn’t the best environment for them. However, they are welcome in any outside area. Assistance dogs are welcome in any of our venues; however, you might want to dress them appropriately for the temperature of the Ice Bar.

Yes, children are permitted in the bar areas of Sur La Piste and the Ice Bar.

At Winter Wonderland, we have a variety of stalls and attractions for both children and adults, including food and gift stalls. Some attractions include the Ice Rink and Sky Skate, as well as our Sur La Piste and Ice Bar.

Yes, we have several attractions and stalls suitable for children. We also allow children aged 4 and above onto our main ice rink with an adult, and children aged 5 and above are allowed into the Ice Bar with an adult.

Yes, Winter Wonderland is pushchair and wheelchair friendly. With all decking and flat surfaces, you should have no issues getting around with a pushchair or wheelchair. The only area of Winter Wonderland that we cannot deem wheelchair-friendly is the Ice Bar because the flooring is made of small stones.

Yes, there are male, female, and disabled toilet facilities on site for Winter Wonderland visitors to use, if you have trouble finding them, please speak to a Member of Staff onsite.

There are no bookings being taken before 12pm on 11/11/23 as this is remembrance day

Applications are closed for 2023, however can take details for 2024. Email markets@mellorsgroup.com with what they sell and their contact info.

Coach parking passes are not available, however we think the best place to unload passengers would be the royal concert hall as it is only a short walk from Winter Wonderland, alternatively, you can park coaches at the park and ride at the Forest Ground and get the tram directly to Winter Wonderland (Old Market Square)

Nottingham Winter Wonderland is primarily cashless. Our bars and attractions accept the following payment methods only:

Lost Property

If you have lost a belonging at Nottingham Winter Wonderland, we can’t guarantee its return, unless it has been handed into a member of staff.

It’s advisable to book your tickets in advance of your visit at www.nottinghamwinterwonderland.co.uk.

Please note, we operate a cashless system and accept no cash payments.

We recommend that you bring your booking reference number / QR code to get access to what you have purchased. This can be on your smartphone (it doesn’t need to be printed)

On arrival at your table, have your smartphone camera at the ready. This will allow you to scan the QR code, bring up the menu and order your drinks. When it comes to checkout, add your own unique code, to use the deposit you’ve already paid.

Your booking deposit forms your minimum spend for food and drink. If you do not spend all of your deposit, unfortunately this money is non-refundable.

We do accept walk-ins, however, to guarantee your slot, we highly recommend pre-booking as all attractions are subject to availability.

To guarantee your slot and beat the queue, we highly recommend pre-booking ice skating in advance.

On all our attractions we allow carers to go free of charge, excluding the ice bar and observation wheel. If you purchase a concession ticket and the carer ticket will be provided on the day, providing correct identification is shown.

Yes, you can purchase tickets from our ticket office on site subject to availability.

We offer a 10% blue light and Armed Forces discount on all attractions. This is only redeemable when booked at our ticket office onsite, with a valid blue light card or MOD90

Tickets will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment.

No, Nottingham Winter Wonderland is completely free to enter, and you will not require a ticket. However, we do recommend pre-booking attractions as they are subject to availability.

Yes, we recommend pre-booking your tickets to ensure you’ve reserved your preferred activities.

You can add tickets to your booking by simply booking another ticket for the same slot via our website. If you have any issues or additional questions, please reach out to our customer service team.

If you have not received your tickets, please check your spam folder, or contact our customer service team.

If you are running late, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. Please note, if you miss your booking, we cannot guarantee a reschedule.

Tickets can be purchased on the day, but availability is not guaranteed, and we recommend pre-booking to ensure entry.

Yes, we do offer student and concession prices.

Concession prices are available for senior citizens, students and those with disabilities.

If you need to reschedule your booking, then please contact our customer service team and they may be able to assist you. Please note that rescheduling is subject to availability.

We have a no-refund policy. You can exchange your tickets if there is availability for the time and date you are requesting.

You can bring a carer with you onto most of our attractions. For the Ice Bar, you will have to book tickets for them as this is limited capacity and we cannot ensure there will be space for additional people.

Yes, downstairs in the Sur La Piste there is an accessible toilet for our guests to use.

Yes, we have a lift to the first floor so all guests can experience the magic of Winter Wonderland. To gain access to the lift, we advise you enter the event from the gate nearest to Slim Chickens, the lift is to the left.

Ice Skating

Yes, skate aids are free to use but numbers are limited and work on a first come first serve basis as we only have limited availability. Children must be under 12 years of age to use skate aids.

No, skate aids can only be used on the children’s rink where they are located.

The ice on Sky Skate, the Family Rink and Children’s Rink is real.

Yes, there is a limited number of lockers and work on a first come, first serve basis, and cannot be pre-booked.

No, lockers are free of charge.

Yes you can bring your own skates, however there will be no discount given if you choose to do so.

Whilst we do not recommend this, we ask that you seek advice from your medical professional. If you do wish to skate, then this will be at your own risk.

The Ice Rink will operate in almost all-weather conditions. Occasionally, inclement weather can disrupt an open-air event. In the unlikely event any session is cancelled or curtailed refunds will only be given if such cancellation or curtailment occurs after less than 30 minutes of skating time has taken place. In this occurrence, ticket holders will be offered alternative sessions.

The minimum age requirement to skate is age 4, children younger than 4 will not be permitted to skate. Under 12s are required to be always accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian. Children aged 12 and above can go on the ice alone as long as they are competent skaters.

Each session lasts for 1 Hour and 15 Minutes, this includes a minimum of 1 hour skating and a 15 minute resurface. Please note the resurface could take place during any time of your session.

Our family tickets will admit 2 adults and 2 children OR 1 adult and 3 children. You will only receive one QR code for all 4 people.

We do have sky skate access via ramp for those in wheelchairs. One concession ticket also grants the entry of one carer with a valid ID.

Yes, standard skating admission includes access to both the Ice Rink and the Sky Skate Ice Path.

£6 per student under 16 years old and free for teachers at a ratio of one teacher to ten students.

£10 per student over 16 years old and free teachers at a ratio of one teacher to ten students.

Ice Bar

Standard tickets are for entry to the Ice Bar and 2 drinks. The premium ticket includes entrance to the Ice Bar, 2 drinks and 1 glass of prosecco

We strongly recommend that all guests bring their own coats and gloves for the Ice Bar, however, there are some available to use onsite.

The minimum age for the Ice Bar is 5 years old.

With the full ice bar hire, you can have a maximum of 50 guests, you will all receive 2 drinks and a glass of prosecco, coats and gloves are also included in this.

Whilst the Ice Bar is located on the ground floor, the floor inside is made up of small stones. Therefore we cannot describe it as wheelchair accessible.

Alcoholic: Single shots in Ice Shot Glasses – Various Options. Half Pints Lager/Cider/IPA. Mulled Wine, Festive Apple Cider, Spiced Toffee Cider, Baileys Hot Chocolate, Winter Pimm’s Non-Alcoholic: Hot Chocolate. Hot Vimto. Hot Apple Juice. Soft Drinks (Coke, Lemonade).

You can place your order via our app and it will be brought to your table.

Vegan and vegetarian options are available. There are gluten free options available but it is not a gluten free kitchen therefore we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross contamination.

Yes, we have a lift up to the first floor so all guests can experience the magic of winter wonderland.

Yes, they are benches but with fabric on the wall to lean on.

Observation Wheel

We do not have a minimum age to ride the observation wheel, however we do ask you to make sure your child remains secured and seated for the duration of the ride.

Yes, children and babies are allowed on the observation wheel. We do ask that you keep children seated throughout the duration.

Takes 12 minutes and it goes around twice.

No, they need to buy a standard ticket.

The wheel itself cannot fit wheelchairs, but if you can make the step into the Gondola, your chair will be kept on the platform for you when you get off.
